    TEACHING AND TRAINING

 

 Dr Jenner and Dr Majus  are recognized teachers and trainers of undergraduate medical students and those of post-graduate status (future GPs) and have had training in how to teach.

Dr Jenner has the position of Honorary Senior Lecturer and Teaching Facilitator at Imperial College, London.

Dr Kelshiker is also a recognized teacher for PRHOs and undergraduates.  

Sister Jenner has the Post-Graduate Certificate for Teachers in primary care and is a Nurse Tutor.

Attached or working in the practice for varying periods of time are:

GP REGISTRARS who have been  doctors for some years and make their careers in General Practice.

Foundation 2 Doctors   who are in their second year after qualifying as doctors  -   (GMC Registered).

MEDICAL STUDENTS from Imperial College and Kings College, London.

QUALIFIED NURSES under training for higher qualifications

NURSING STUDENTS

MIDWIFERY STUDENTS

 

Patients are asked for their support and co-operation in helping the clinicians to teach the next generation of health professionals.  Co-operation is also required to assist in research, some of which is done in collaboration with the Medical Research Council.
