Elliott Hall Medical Centre is a member of the Medical Research Council General Practice Research Framework.

From time to time, the Practice is invited to join the work of this organisation. Research is carefully monitored and all projects receive official approval. All staff involved are specially trained.

Sometimes, the Practice is involved with supporting University projects, patients may, be approached to be involved. This would of course, be subject to the patients informed consent.

The Library

The Elliott Hall Medical Centre's reference library is named after honorary librarian Leslie Morton (Librarian from 1996-2002), in recognition of his efforts to build the library up to the way it looks and operates today.

A comprehensive collection of medical reference books, videos and CD's are available and on hand for clinical staff and students who attend the medical centre. They also provide resources during "Teaching and Training".
